Welcome to our little corner of Disneyland Paris. We've been visiting since 2018 and somehow we still can't get enough of the place. Whether it's our first coffee on Main Street at rope drop or that last fireworks blast before the long drive home, this park has a way of getting under your skin. Pym Kitchen sits inside Avengers Campus, over in Disney Adventure World, the park that used to be Walt Disney Studios. We went along for a meal to see whether the food lived up to the setting.

There is a moment, somewhere between booking the hotel and packing the Mickey ears, when the same question always lands: what is the best way to actually get to Disneyland Paris? It is one we have wrestled with more than once, because over the years we have made the trip by car, by Eurostar and by plane, and each has left us with strong opinions and the odd cautionary tale.
The honest answer is that there is no single best way, only the way that suits your trip, your budget and your tolerance for motorway service stations. So rather than pretend one route wins outright, we thought we would lay all three out side by side, warts and all, and share what we have actually learned from doing each of them ourselves.

Nordic Crowns Tavern is the new quick service restaurant located in World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris. It opened at the end of March 2026. During our recent trip, we stopped in for a bit of tea. When we saw on the menu they had meatballs we were like that sounds good, a nice change, so we went in and ordered.

Ratatouille is one of our favourite Disney movies, there is something about the story of how a mouse became a chef. When we started to visit Disneyland Paris we were thrilled to hear they had a restaurant based on the film. However each time we tried to book it, there was no availability. So you can imagine how thrilled we were when a reservation became available and we were finally able to experience this unique dining location.
Bistrot Chez Rémy is located in the Place de Rémy in Disneyland Paris, located next to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure trackless ride, which when you disembark you can see into this magical restaurant.

There is something about being handed a plate of food by a waiter while Cinderella drifts over to say hello that never quite stops feeling magical, no matter how many times we do it. Character dining is one of our favourite things to do when we visit Disneyland Paris, and being able to meet the characters with little to no queue means more time left in the parks to enjoy the rides and shows. Mr Disney is just as keen on a character meal as I am, especially if Daisy Duck is around, so it is always near the top of our list. It is one of those experiences that sounds a little daft when you describe it out loud, you are paying to eat dinner while cartoon royalty pop by your table, and yet it ends up being one of the warmest, most memorable parts of any trip.
If you have never done it before, the idea is simple. You sit down for a proper meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on where you book, and the characters come to you. No queues, just hugs, photos, autographs and a bit of a natter while you eat. Meals usually run between an hour and ninety minutes, so there is no rush.

When we go to Disneyland Paris, one of the hotels we often stay in is Sequoia Lodge. It is a moderate hotel, within close walking distance of both Disney Village and the Disney parks. It is a really nice place too, split across the main hotel building and six additional lodge buildings.

Of all the hotels at Disneyland Paris, Hotel Santa Fe is the one that makes you smile before you've even checked in. The whole place is themed around Pixar's Cars, and that starts the moment you arrive, with an entrance dressed up to look like a drive-in movie, so you roll up feeling like you've driven straight onto Route 66.

While on our recent Disneyland Paris trip in April 2026, Mr Disney and I dined at the new Regal View Restaurant in Disney Adventure World. Regal View is a Princess dining experience which opened as part of the Adventure Way expansion, and currently is the only Character meal within Disney Adventure World.

After years of watching the construction, from up on Toy Story Soldiers parachute drop, and trying to peek through the walls that were surround the construction, we finally got to experience the expansion of Walt Disney Studios now known as Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris and wow it certainly was worth waiting for.
