Pym Kitchen sits inside Avengers Campus, over in Disney Adventure World, the park that used to be Walt Disney Studios. We went along for a meal to see whether the food lived up to the setting.
The theming
The restaurant is themed around Ant-Man and the Wasp, and it is themed really well. The whole place runs on Pym Particles, the shrinking and growing science from the films, and the idea turns up everywhere you look. Your drinks arrive in chemistry jars. The condiments sit on the table in individual test tubes in a rack.
The buffet
It is a buffet, and there is a big selection. Bread service is an oversized pretzel, so the joke starts before the mains do. The burgers are so big they serve them by the slice, and the hot dogs are shrunk right down to little wiener-sized things. There is also a salad with blue mayonnaise. I only managed to film a small amount of the mains on the day, but what was there impressed us.
Desserts and the little ones
Save room. The red velvet cake is divine, and so is the oversized Oreo cake. There is an ice cream machine with toppings as well, which is a fun extra touch. Be prepared to be fooled, though. Some things look like one thing and turn out to be another. What we took for a Magnum ice cream was a cake. There is a children's section too, with chicken nuggets and fries and the usual things children will actually eat.
The price and the meal plan
The meal would have cost us 41 euros each. We were on a meal plan, and our vouchers covered it. If you are weighing up whether a plan is worth it, we have written about the Disneyland Paris meal plans in full.
Would we go back?
We would, and happily. It is themed beautifully, the food impressed us, and it still feels like a restaurant with room to grow into itself. Worth your time if you are spending a day around Avengers Campus.
