If you're travelling to Disneyland Paris by train, the one thing you don't want to do is have to carry your luggage around with you, as you just want to go to the parks. That's where Disney Express works for you. What is Disney Express you ask? Here's everything you need to know about how it works, including what's changed recently so you're not caught out.
What is Disney Express?
Disney Express is a hotel check-in and luggage service for guests arriving at Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy station, which sits right on the doorstep of the two Disney parks.
The idea is simple, you drop your you luggage over at Disney Express counter in the station. There you will be able collect your park tickets and they then deliver your luggage to your hotel for you, ready and waiting when you're done in the parks for the day.
On the way home it works in reverse. You leave your luggage with your hotel in the morning, enjoy one last day in the parks, and collect your bags from the Disney Express desk at the station before your train home., so for many this service gives you a full first day and a full last day, instead of losing hours shuffling suitcases about.
How to find it when you arrive
When you get to Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy, head up the escalators to the first-floor mezzanine level of the station. Look for the bright blue Disney Express signs. You can't really miss them.
Who can use it?
Disney Express is available to guests staying at the Disney Hotels and many of the Partner Hotels, booked through the official Disneyland Paris site or an approved travel agent.
A couple of exceptions to be aware of: it isn't available for Disney Davy Crockett Ranch or Les Villages Nature Paris.
A few practical things worth knowing
It's a paid extra. It isn't automatically included in your package. You add it when booking, either as part of a Hotel + Tickets package or by calling the booking line before you travel.
You can't just turn up and add it on the day at the Disney express desk and leave your luggage with them.
If you just want to use it for you return journey then you can book this by visiting concierge in your hotel.
Its worth noting that Some things can't be transferred. For security reasons, valuables like jewellery, laptops, cameras, pushchairs and scooters need to stay with you. Pack those in your day bag.
If your on an Early train home? No problem. You just drop your bags directly at the station counter in the morning instead of at the hotel. All the onsite disney hotels have shuttles that run from the hotel to the train station - except the disneyland hotel which is on a 5 minute walk from the station.

Is it worth it?
For anyone who really wants to squeeze every drop out of arrival day, we think it's money very well spent. There's something genuinely brilliant about stepping off the train and walking straight under the gates with nothing weighing you down. Especially if you are on a tight schedule and want to make the most of the parks as much as you can.
Disney Express isn't essential, but it's one of those little touches that makes a Disney trip feel that bit more magical and a lot less stressful. Just go in knowing the direct-train check-in is a thing of the past. The luggage service that gets you into the parks faster is still going strong.
