Beyond the Mouse
As much as we love Disney, life isn't all ears and pixie dust — so this is where everything else lives. Expect a proper mix: other theme parks, days out, holidays, food finds, events, and yes, the occasional Disney show or pop-up that catches our eye. Basically, if it's worth writing about and it isn't Walt or a cruise ship, it'll end up here. So come with us as we explore beyond the Mouse
The Mundo Pixar event in Wembley, London was one of those places that, when it was first announced, I wasn't sure about going to. However, after seeing the pictures and other people's reviews, I decided that maybe this was one of those events not to be missed — and I am so pleased that I did decide to go.
Mr Disney (Wayne) has always wanted to visit Kennedy Space Center. I, on the other hand, wasn't so sure. Now don't get me wrong - I'm not completely oblivious to space. Growing up I have watched a few of the shuttle launches on television, including the sad one, and we have visited a handful of space exhibits over the years, including the National Space Centre in Leicester. The thought of going into space does fascinate me and I have watched a few films on space and space travel — factual as well as fictional. But at heart I am a Disney girl, and I simply wasn't sure whether Kennedy Space Center would be my kind of thing.
